Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need planning permission for a tarmac driveway?
Tarmac isn't permeable, so a drive over 5m2 that drains onto the road will usually need planning permission or a drainage solution alongside it. We'll run through the options when we quote.
Can tarmac be laid in winter?
Tarmac needs a dry, frost-free day to lay properly. We can work through autumn and spring without issue, but during prolonged cold snaps we'll usually wait for better conditions. Quality matters more than rushing the job.
Are you based in Kingswinford?
Our base is in Tettenhall, a short hop from Kingswinford, so we cover Kingswinford and the surrounding West Midlands with no trouble.
