Which surface lasts longest?
Pattern imprinted concrete and resin bound both typically last 20+ years with minimal maintenance when laid properly. Tarmac is closer to 15–20 years. The bigger factor is the groundwork, since a poorly prepped base will fail no matter what's on top, which is why we never cut corners on the sub-base.
Will I lose access to my drive during installation?
Yes, you'll need to park elsewhere while we work. The length depends on the surface. Tarmac and pattern imprinted concrete need a few days to cure before you can drive on them, and resin bound typically needs around 24–48 hours after laying before light foot traffic. We'll let you know exact timings before the job starts so you can plan.
