Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
In most cases no, as long as the surface is permeable or drains to a permeable area on your property. Resin bound is naturally permeable, which keeps you the right side of the regulations without extra drainage work. Non-permeable surfaces over 5m² that drain onto the road usually need planning permission.
